WHAT IS CHIRP?

CHIRP is a group of academic museum and gallery professionals who organize opportunities for colleagues to share knowledge, tools, and skills. Those of us who work in academic museums and galleries are less likely to have paths to promotion, long term contracts, research and professional development support, and scholarly independence than our peers in other units of the academy. Through CHIRP, we hope to collate the incredible knowledge base of our community to share successful strategies for advocacy.
